Janet Crosby completed a degree in Art and Design at Brighton University in 2005 and her subsequent career combines exhibiting, commissions and educational work. The figurative pieces for Animality reflect Crosby’s eclectic influences and the allure of the unreal. Her beautifully crafted, individual figures have a unique contemporaneity, combined with a timelessness, being both of, and not quite of, this world.

The anomalous Liz Finch, whose idiosyncratic vision and quintessentially poetic sensibilities have inspired her work as a Live Artist, Designer Maker, Installation Artist and Dadaist, creates sublime and subversive creatures using the methods and techniques of her childhood. Seeing herself as both Insider and Outsider, Finch celebrates the extraordinary in the ordinary, responding to the bizarre, the humorous and the random in the everyday.
